Cunard this morning (Wednesday) announced the ordering of a new 92,000-gt liner to be named QUEEN ELIZABETH.
The ship costing 500 million euros is to be built at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard and will enter service in 2010. She will be the second largest Cunard ship ever built.
Full details of this development, which has remained a well-kept secret, will be revealed in our next News Bulletin on the web later tonight, and will also feature in our next Cruise News page.
