Workers plan march on Durban to protest port concessioning
Members of the South African Transport & Allied Workers Union (Satawu) who work in the port of Durban are planning a march through the streets of the city on Saturday, 7 June 2003.
The marchers will commence at 11am at the West Street and Warwick Avenue Junction and plan to end their march of protest in front of the City Hall at 12.30, where a memorandum is to be handed to an official of the Department of Transport.
The march is in support of negotiations on port restructuring.
